Tilers Offer Supply And Fix Package

With more than 15 years tiling experience between them, Troy Mountford and David Lyons are in a good position to know what their customers want.
Now working in partnership and completing work in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra areas, the two have branched into supplying as well as fixing tiles.
``Usually a tiler does just the tiling component of a job which means the client has to shop around to find the tiles he or she wants," Troy said.
``That is time-consuming and confusing so we have introduced a range of first-quality ceramic tiles in the most popular colours and patterns, which we carry in our trucks to try to make the choice a little easier.
``It's a supply and fix package or we can simply fix the tiles if that's what the client wants."
There are matte and glossy tiles in a range of gentle earthy tones - pinks, rust, blue, apricot, cream and soft green among others - but should there not be something to the client's taste, the licensed tilers will do their best to locate the desired tiles.
``More and more new home builders and home renovators, particularly those with young children, are choosing to have tiled floors rather than carpets or even polished timber," David said.
``Tiles are easy to clean, don't hold or trap dust, are suitable for indoors or outdoors and deliver the beauty of a natural product."
Although the partners are happy to complete small domestic jobs, they really like the challenge and results offered by larger areas within a home.
``As professional tradesmen we can complete a 70sqm area quickly and efficiently - laying the tiles one day, grouting the next - which means the area is ready for use much sooner," Troy said.
