When builder Paul Murphy takes on a job his client may be assured that he will take care of the whole project.
"I work on all the jobs myself and have a team of other tradesmen - plumbers, electricians, gyprockers, roof tilers and so on - to call on when we are at those particular stages of the building process," he said.
A builder in the Illawarra for five years, Mr Murphy specialises in renovations, extensions, new bathrooms and garages.
"My advice to anyone contemplating having any type of building work done is to make sure the person they choose has a current building licence and that there have been no complaints registered against him," he said.
"A call to the Department of Fair Trading will soon reveal that information."
As well as doing the hands-on building work, Mr Murphy can advise prospective clients on any aspect of their work.
"Sometimes people need a bit of practical input before they make a final decision," he said.
