A tiler is able to tile any room, such as a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry, living room, store room, entrance and corridor. Tilers can also tile outdoor spaces as well such as pools, courtyards, porches and walkways.
Tilers are highly sought after due to the fact that tiles are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Tiles are extremely durable, being strong surfaces that cope well with high amounts of foot traffic, are waterproof, stain resistant, and salt and chlorine resistant.
There are many different materials a tiler can use for your surfaces including ceramic, slate, porcelain, slate, clay, marble, glass, mosaic and stone.
A tiler is well trained to lay down your tiles with expertise, ensuring that you receive a quality tiling service. Tilers undertake the tiling process with ease because they have strong eye-hand coordination, exercise manual labour easily and efficiently.
Tilers begin by cleaning, marking and measuring the surface to be tiled. They then evenly spread adhesive over the prepared surface and apply the tiles starting from the middle of the surface and working out. Tilers use a tile cutter in case there are any tiles that go over the edge of the surface. They use a tile file for any jagged edges that need smoothing. Tilers are careful to use a level to ensure that the tiles have evenly been laid down.
After the tiles have been laid, tilers spread grout over the tiles to fill in the cracks and lines. Then tilers clean away any excess grout and leave the newly tiled surface to dry.
