Pavers
Paving
Paving is most commonly used outdoors and can come in the forms of driveway paving or garden paving. There are a wide variety of materials, designs, styles and colours of paving available. Find out more about driveway and garden paving.
Driveway Paving
Driveway paving is a good way to seal the area you receive car traffic at home. Opposed to concreting your driveway, driveway paving comes in a wide range of styles, colours and designs. It is also very cost effective being cheaper than other solid-surface driveway materials.
Driveway paving is also more durable than concrete. Driveway paving can be used on clay soils and other natural surfaces that are prone to movement without cracking - unlike concrete. While the joints between paving is susceptible to weed growth, you can avoid this if you properly apply grout.
The other pluses about driveway paving are that it drains better than concrete or gravel, and if you live in an area that snows, it is easy to shovel away snow than gravel or pebbles.
Garden Paving
Garden paving is also known as hardscaping and paving in a garden serves as a great utility for people to enjoy the space. Garden paving can be used to better explore the garden as well as areas to gather.
You can get garden paving in a variety of different materials such as concrete, which is versatile and middle of the price range, and natural stone paving, which is cheap and looks organic to complement the natural surroundings. You can also purchase ceramic garden paving, which come in a wide range of styles and designs, however be sure you can replace them in the future incase the tiles break in the harsher outdoor conditions.
